Sarah Adwoa Safo, Member of Parliament (MP) for Dome/Kwabenya Constituency, Greater Accra Region, and Minister of Gender, Children, and Social Protection, has deactivated her TikTok account with the username (@sarahadwoasafo) following criticism from Kennedy Agyapong during her absence from Parliament.

In an interview on GTV Breakfast on February 21, 2022, the Assin Central MP, Kennedy Agyapong, made some discoveries about the Dome/Kwabenya MP, noting that “she has failed in life for asking to be named Deputy Majority Leader before she enters to Parliament.”

He went on to say that “her absence from Parliament for more than 15 days might result in her seat being declared empty, while she continues to dance on TikTok.”

TikTok, also known as Douyin in China, is a video-focused social networking service that features a range of short-form user videos with durations ranging from 15 seconds to three minutes in categories such as pranks, stunts, tricks, jokes, dance, and entertainment.

This app has been a hot subject over the last 24 hours when Kennedy Agyapong, the MP for Assin Central, accused Sarah Adwoa Safo, the MP for Dome/Kwabenya, of undermining the ruling New Patriotic Party by her persistent absence from Parliament, preventing the E-Levy Bill from being approved.

Sarah Adwoa Safo’s TikTok account, which had over 13,000 followers, is now inaccessible.
