Mahama recommends a step-up of public education on COVID-19
Flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress, Mr John Dramani Mahama has proposed for a step-up of public education on COVID-19.
This, he explained would help the citizenry to appreciate the risk in the reduction of protocols.
Mr Mahama made the proposal when he notified a cut short in his unannounced visit to some registration centres in Accra and Tema today.
According to Mr Mahama, low awareness of the #COVID19 protocols including physical distancing and the wearing of masks has necessitated his decision.
In a Facebook post by him on his Facebook page and cited by elsieopinari.com, he wrote; “I have cut short my unannounced visit to some voter registration centres in Accra and Tema this afternoon.
” This is because of the very low awareness of the #COVID19 protocols including physical distancing and the wearing of masks, ” the flagbearer announced.
