Conceived on February 14, 1954, Nana Tuffour began his excursion in music with keyboardist Alex Konadu. He later joined the Wanto Wazuri Band as a piano player and therefore turned into the frontman of the band.
With the point of discharging an independent collection, he left for Nigeria. During his stay in the West African nation, he filled in as a keyboardist for King Sunny Ade, a renowned Nigerian artist.
Nana Tuffour discharged his first collection ‘Highlife Romance’ in 1979.
‘9-9-2-4’ as the artist was tenderly called, had more than 15 collections, and various honors shockingly.
His famous tunes included ‘Abeiku’, ‘Me Yere Dada’, ‘Owuo Sei Fie’, ‘Adeepena’ and ‘Manu Me Ho’.
