Schools the nation over have been reopened exclusively for final year students as a feature of measures to ease limitations in Ghana’s battle against the COVID-19 pandemic.
The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in his tenth broadcast address to the country said the move is to plan and empower the students to take their last assessments.
As indicated by him, the reviving is with the proper upgraded security conventions and social separating adherence.
Final year students are required to continue school on Monday, June 15, 2020.
“All final year students of educational and training institutions, which are being managed by Ministries other than the Education Ministry, are to return to school on 15th June to complete their exit examinations”
Whereas final year SHS students return to school on Monday, June 22, 2020, their counterparts in Junior High Schools will go back to school on Monday, June 29, 2020.
