The president of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo has began a 14-day self-isolation after one person from his inner circles tested positive for COVID-19
According to a press statement issued by the Information Minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, the self-isolation begins today (Saturday, July 4 2020).
However, the statement said that the President “tested negative, but has elected to take this measure out of the abundance of caution”.
